Theresa May is Appointed As Second Female Prime Minister of Britain

As David Cameron officially moved out of Number 10 Downing street, Former Home Secretary Theresa May is officially appointed as the Prime Minister of Great Britain.

May officially takes office as Prime Minister following an audience with the Queen.

She replaces David Cameron in Downing Street, who resigned in the wake of the UK’s decision to leave the European Union in the June 23 referendum.
