Aguero: I want to lift Champions League before leaving City

Sergio Aguero has a 2020 vision of lifting the Champions League before he leaves Manchester City. Aguero has already been a huge success for City, picking up two Premier League titles, plus two League Cups – but he made it clear the medal he wants now. “I still have three years more here,” he said.

“I hope to achieve that at some point as it’s really important for any player.

Obviously the Champions League is not easy. There are a lot of fantastic teams as well. But my idea and the club’s idea is the same – try to win this competition. We played really good, but there are other teams that are more candidates – Barcelona, Madrid or Bayern are the type of teams that are always there. We have been working and improving in the last three years. “The club has signed new players and a new coach in order to keep improving and we are ready to achieve a Champions League final. I don’t know if it is going to be this year, but we will try.”
